Starting Crossfit

Our goal at Xtra Mile is to help you improve your quality of life and help you reach your fitness goals. We pride ourselves in helping members understand every movement and performing them properly. With our introductory program, we work closely with new members to teach them proper mechanics and mobilization techniques to avoid injury and make the most of their time at the gym.

Free Intro

Getting started at Xtra Mile is an easy process, and we will introduce you to CrossFit in a safe, effective manner. Starting with a free introductory workout that will give you a taste of CrossFit and will teach you to move your body properly. Along the way, one of our senior trainers will answer all your questions and help you learn more about the philosophy behind CrossFit.

On Ramps

When you join the CrossFit Xtra Mile family, we do everything in our power to ensure you have a positive experience, starting with your first month’s membership, which begins with five “On Ramp”  classes.  These classes introduce you to the foundational movements of CrossFit, familiarize you with the facility, and prepare you to enter the regular class with confidence.  Once you have completed the On Ramp classes, you will have UNLIMITED access to classes at either location the rest of your first month.

Lifelong Fitness

You are ready to join any of the Workout of the Day (WOD) classes. These classes are lead by an experienced, dedicated, passionate coach who will encourage you and ensure that you are doing movements safely and correctly. At all times, a coach is constantly circulating through class so that you get a personal training-like experience while still enjoying the fun of a group setting.
